The Faculty of Management and Social Sciences at Owolabi University provides rigorous academic grounding in business governance, economic analysis, financial accounting, and security studies. Academic study in the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences follows a structured progression over four academic sessions:
- 100 Level: Foundational courses in Principles of Accounting, Introduction to Business, General Economics, Elements of Government, and General Studies (GST).
- 200 Level: Financial accounting, business statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, organization theory, and social research methods.
- 300 Level: Auditing, managerial finance, econometrics, corporate strategy, security risk management, SIWES industrial attachment, and entrepreneurship modules.
- 400 Level: Advanced corporate policy, international finance, forensic accounting, crime data analytics, research methodology, and final-year capstone research project.

01 Commercial & Management Programmes
Accounting, Business Administration
- O'Level Requirements: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two (2) other subjects from Financial Accounting, Commerce, Government, and Geography (WASSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB) obtained at not more than two sittings.
- UTME Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any Commercial or Social Science subject.
02 Social Science Programmes
Economics, Criminology & Security Studies
- O'Level Requirements: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Government, and two (2) other Arts or Social Science subjects (WASSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB) obtained at not more than two sittings.
- UTME Subject Combination: English Language, Economics or Government, Mathematics, and one other Social Science subject.
03 General Admission Regulations
- All candidates must attain the minimum acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) set by JAMB.
- All O'Level results must be verified and obtained at not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must undergo internal verification and complete the Post-UTME Screening successfully.
